About me
My name is Michael Yanovsky. I’m a massage therapist with over 20 years of experience, based in Alberta, Canada. I have been studying and practicing facial massage since 2007.
Since 2009, I have functioned as the Israeli franchise director of the Elena Zemskova International Massage School (which is part of what is likely the first aesthetic massage school in the world, founded in 1998).
In 2014, I officially became an instructor of the Chiromassage IQ method.
In 2010, I founded a brand and opened (under the mother school) the Resonance Massage Arts Academy, which continues to grow internationally with depth, high standards, and vision.
Over the years, I have trained over 800 students in more than 120 courses, and I regularly lecture at industry events on advanced facial massage techniques.

What makes me tick
At the heart of my work is teaching—guiding professionals in facial massage, whether they’re experienced or just beginning, toward a deeper, more intentional way of practicing. I offer advanced training for estheticians and massage therapists who want to move beyond ordinary, mechanically minded techniques and adopt a more meaningful approach.
Over the years, my teaching has evolved into a blend of two elements: a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and the science of aging, alongside the delicate, human aspects of presence, attention, and care. It’s where clinical thinking intersects with sensitivity and genuine growth begins.
I work closely with my students in small groups through hands-on training and anatomical reasoning. We break down the logic behind each movement and examine why it matters. I support them in developing not only their skills but also their perception—their ability to feel, adjust, and respond in real time.
Whether helping a student refine their touch or guiding a school in reshaping its curriculum, my goal is always the same: to foster thoughtful, lasting growth and help each practitioner walk the path toward true mastery.

Chiromassage IQ is a scientific facial massage method based on advanced knowledge of facial anatomy, biomechanics, and the physiology of aging. It views the face as a multi-layered system—bones, fat pads, muscles, SMAS, fascia, skin, lymphatics, and the nervous system—each influencing how the face ages, holds expression, and is ultimately perceived.

There are no fixed sequences—always new.
Each session is built on the spot, based on the client’s structure, age, and facial movement patterns. This ensures treatment addresses real, evolving needs, not just visible symptoms. It’s always new—for both client and therapist—turning each session into a shared journey of observation, response, and transformation.

Resonance Massage Arts Academy is the official subsidiary school enterprise under Elena Zemskova International Massage School (likely the first aesthetic massage school in the world, established in 1998). Under the leadership of Elena Zemskova, over 20,000 students have been trained across Europe and other regions.
